ecom's Android™ Smartphones and Feature Phones now offer users the option of being used in various modes to allow specific features to be ‘turned off’. Utilising mobile device management (MDM), users can be prevented from using functionality that is not enabled by an administrator. This effectively allows compliance with site restrictions and security, while not restricting the efficiencies and increased safety that such devices afford. The MDM also prevents users from installing unapproved applications.
